Most of us are in the process of trying to find out
what we are all about. This usually involves a
passionate effort to follow some spiritual path; not
the one we were born into. We want to knowwww
the T r u t h - no more stories pleezeee.
And we follow this new spirituality with fervour
till many years on we fall out of infatuation with it.
And then does clarity dawn on a - older and more
matured us - that it was yet another story - and all
of existence is but a storyline .... say it anyway you
like it - make sense of it anyway you like - life just IS
It is this, that and everything - it includes all - ALL.
There is nothing to seek, nothing to achieve - one just
has to decide whether to keep going on or in silence
to negate all. And realize that one is the Creator, the
Preserver and the Destroyer. Noone out there or up
there but just in HERE (heart).
And knowing this we continue on our old ways for
we are not through yet with this storytelling which
we are experts in. We are not ready to give it all up.
PEACE
We run through life trying to manage it - ourselves and others.
Only when we let go and just accept what is AS IS is there the
much sought after PEACE.....
Marriage
A good marriage is not an accident of nature. It is
a carefully tended garden needing constant nuture,
attention and care. By both gardeners !!
Gratitude
Start the day and end the day with thanksgiving
for all the goodness in our lives (even if it is
seemingly otherwise).
Battlefield
Life a battlefield! How have you earned your badges?
Righteously? Virtuously? Valiantly? For a Good Cause?
Synchronicity
I was watching tv and randomly surfing the channels before
switching off. Turned to CNN in perfect timing as they tuned
in to the start of Najib and Obama's Speech live - listened and
as the fairly lengthy speech and questions ended and they both
said thank you the transmission went off due to the start of
heavy rain here. Hmm ... I did not plan to listen nor was I
interested to but I suppose the Universe intended for me to listen
... it was informative. Najib floundered on the pronunciation of
the word proliferation - he tried a number of times and gave up ...
Obama was quick to pipe in with some consolatory words and
Obama himself tarried, stammered and hee hawed as he tried to
answer questions by western journalists on the Ukraine-Russian
situation and sanctions. Yes the local media asked simplistic naive
questions while the western media were fearless and asked all the
blunt but pertinent questions. Must say I did gain an understanding
of the current status with the TPPA (Trans Atlantic Partnership
Agreement). There are on-going protests by groups here and this
discontent was noted by Obama. Ongoing issue....
So again I have to work at my intuition .... as today I felt led to
watch this...

Mind States
I have noted that any personal progress is possible only when
I learn to control my mind states - to change at will my mind-
feeling state to what I want to experience. Experience is not out
there but in our minds. Control this and we control our reality.
Reality is not consensual experiences of a programmed humanity.
Reality is what we choose it to be. While this is easily said it is
only really possible when we learn to control what we choose to
think and feel by choosing to change at will our states of mind.

I was reading the papers while sitting on the sofa
when I heard a bird tweeting rapidly. As the bird sound
was unusual I desired to see what kind of bird it was.
Looking up from the paper I was reading I looked out
into the garden and said softly, "Come into my view
that I may see you." The little bird flew right into my
view and perched on a flower plant for a few seconds,
still making its high pitched rapid tweeting and flew
away! hmmm,,,, must work at this ...
It was either a humming bird or one I have not seen
before. It was smaller than a sparrow. But the sound was
not that of a humming bird - or perhaps it was in distress
and therefore the unusual rapid short notes.

Let it go ...
We create problems when we let the mind go wild. Over time
it goes into automatic mode for the slightest thing. It is so
important to constantly keep the mind reined-in, no matter how
distraught one is. A real challenge especially in these days of
mental over development. It is time to get past the mind
through stilling the mind exercises and meditation. It is about
keeping on keeping at till one achieves it. Still trying....

Remembering The Tiger Of Jelutong
Karpal Singh, 74, passed away in an accident early this morning.
While most of us just talk he walked his talk. We will miss a
formidable force in our political opposition arena; the check
and balance for any healthy political system.
Rest in peace my fellow countryman, nobler than us..
Karpal said to Police who wanted him to leave a court by
a back door because there was a man threathening to harm
him.... “if I go through that back door now, I will go through
back doors all my life.”
What does it mean to be a true Malaysian in present times?
