Having a tiff dears?

It almost seems contrived but can a cat pose?

EINSTEIN: The world will have a generation of idiots.

"Religion is regarded by
the common people as true,
by the wise as false,
and by the rulers as useful."
SENECA THE YOUNGER (4 BC -- 65 AD)

When we are tired of seeking
and feel unfulfilled...
When depleted we are left wondering
bitterly our failed endeavours...
It would do us well to remember
that human life is about ~experiencing~
the good, the true, the beautiful, simply put.
So just BE and soak up all experiences
that waft our way, knowing, that
nothing is lost, all is well.
Knowledge gained is not futile
Knowing is the key
To Liberty.

And we are facing a very dangerous world: one ideology, the Russian Marxist ideologies facing the so-called democratic ideologies. So there is nobody you can turn to. I wonder... one wonders if you really realise that. Nobody on earth or in heaven is going to help you. You can pray, and that which you pray to is the creation of your own thought. One wonders if you actually face this fact, or surreptitiously, in our anxiety, in our confusion, we turn to another. one is confronted with this very, very serious problem of life, realising that there is nobody that can help us, nobody on earth, or any outside agency. God is the creation of thought, of man, out of his fear, out of his anxiety, desire for comfort, seeking somebody to help. The thought has created this so-called entity, God. ..... Jk

Say what??

Was today worth the worry you put into it yesterday?

Feeling full, bloated, undigested, not hungry but eating for the sake of and desire of eating and continuing to do so even as a certain breathlessness is beginning to set in - what does this tell? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Ironically, so too I ingest information daily from the internet, true
or false, to just pass the time in unconscious floating through these days of boredom, void of
meaning and purpose.... disillusioned too .... uninterested in applying self to some purpose....

in the midst of mania, we can take refuge in daily self-care, like taking time to digest all that’s absorbed.
“It’s crazy-making to take in life’s data and impressions, and continue to balloon up with it inside as random and meaningless.  Sagittarius wants to know, ‘What’s the point?’ ~Molly Hall~
It seems one has to sit back and observe... enough of information... just digest what has been acquired as one lives life. No need for purpose, reason, meaning. All is contained in one's life. So just live life to the best of one's ability and these questions take care of themselves. All the esoteric information I know has not made a dent in my Self-Knowledge nor am I any more "spiritual" and "somewhere else" - I'm still HERE, still plodding, still doing the same things, still held by law to this life, still not "enlightened" - "liberated" - "spiritualized" - "any different" than I was, say, 10 years ago? 20 years ago? or for that matter 30 years ago. I know much yet know nothing. I stand in my own shoes, leave my carbon footprint wherever I tread, try to suss out information here and there but am nowhere special. The knowledge I have gained may make me feel a head taller than the man in the street. It is said that knowledge is the key to control and power in this world. When you know things others can't jerk you around. Otherwise we are all on the same chequer board playing the same game un-consiously. So we are all blindfolded, do not know why we are here, have no power to get out of here, have no say in what happens to us. The spiritual path is supposed to be our way out but then that is another story...

Some illustrations from, "Alice In Wonderland" - reminescent of my childhood days when I was 8 and mother used to read this book to me...

If your mind is tethered to any conclusion, to any experience, to any form of knowledge or belief, it is not free; and such a mind cannot possibly perceive what is truth.

The Cerulean Warbler

Hummingbirds awaken us to the beauty of the present moment.

Daily Reflection

"Anytime you find yourself being a servant of the mind, you say, “Hmmm, which one of the chakras, red, orange, yellow (1st, 2nd, 3rd) have a grip on me? Because it is one of them! Always. All you need to do is take your hand to your heart, and as you have your hand to your heart, you release the fear, you release the anger, you release all that has trapped you in the density of the third dimension." - Daily Reflection, Sri & Kira.

Why do u not act?

Why, then, don't you act when you see the danger of your conditioning? If you saw the danger of nationalism to your own security, wouldn't you act?
The answer is you don't see. Through an intellectual process of analysis you may see that nationalism leads to self-destruction but there is no emotional content in that. Only when there is an emotional content do you become vital. If you see the danger of your conditioning merely as an intellectual concept, you will never do anything about it. In seeing a danger as a mere idea there is conflict between the idea and action and that conflict takes away your energy. It is only when you see the conditioning and the danger of it immediately, and as you would see a precipice, that you act. So seeing is acting.
Most of us walk through life inattentively, reacting unthinkingly according to the environment in which we have been brought up, and such reactions create only further bondage, further conditioning, but the moment you give your total attention to your conditioning you will see that you are free from the past completely, that it falls away from you naturally         ~Jiddu Krishnamurthi~

We are Creators

We are living out the thought lives of our Past.
It is important that we are careful to not react negatively (nor positively but more preferable) to our present circumstances and life happenings.
For what we think about now (about people, events) will play out in our future lives.
Our thoughts are mental creations conditioned by powerful emotions
Therefore once set in motion there is no retracting.
There is no setting off; only a paying off.
No amount of good deeds set off bad ones.
Each will play out its course - good for good; bad for bad.

So the real lesson for each of us is to be ever watchful of our thoughts and emotions.
This will depend on our character which is how we view the world and make sense of it.
If we are opinionated and judgemental which is how the rational mind makes sense of life we will spawn our future accordingly.
Which is why the sages advice us not to have opinions, not to judge, not to be too emotional (for emotions is like the salt that sets the dye colour into the cloth; it sets the karma into our cellular structure), not to react but act... etc. etc.
It is simply so that we do not create negatively, passionately, emotionally.

As we become stable and neutral, our lives will be more placid and peaceful.
As we grow inwardly so too our external lives reflect our inner state.
As is said we create our lives with our thoughts.
How true!

Our problem is not to be resolved by going back to the past, to what Shankara, Buddha, Christ, or your own guru has said, but only by being able to meet life, with all its challenge, anew, afresh; and you cannot meet the challenge, the fact, in that way as long as the mind is burdened with any evaluation. It is meeting the fact with evaluation that creates confusion and sorrow. So, can the mind have memory and yet be still, thus meeting the fact without evaluation? Can the mind be free of all its many yesterdays?"   ~Jiddu Krishnamurthi~

The only way forward is to go through to get through, totally present, non-judgemental, without opinions and find own answers experientially.

The mind can be filled with others' information, and be full of yesterdays' memories but that only weighs it down and hinders the Higher Essence from flooding down into the lower life. The memory stores all information but so long as the active mind does not dwell and spin tales and whine and re-play the past it hinders not being in Presence in the full experience of one's life. Which is why one is asked to remain in the NOW moment - the mind is still - and ESSENTIAL PRESENCE - IS - the experiencer without the middle man Mind sitting in judgement and analysis and creating a pseudo-life called the personality which eventually takes on a spurious life of its own and stands in its own way, blocking itsSELF.     ~Susila~
