Musings

We human beings are funny creatures.
We can't stand each other no matter how
much we say we hold each other in high
esteem. Some of us camouflage this through
being nice and diplomatic; some of us don't,
thereby becoming the good and bad guys.
This is especially a dilemma for those of us
who profess to be on the spiritual path; we
bend backwards to be nice and unity concious
but our petticoat hem shows in so many little
other ways that show our true feelings. So what
to make of it lah? I suppose to be genuine and
leave the other to come to some inner understanding
or not of our delivery - words, emotions, reactions.
Of course we aim towards action rather than reaction
but then again we human creatures are funny little
thingies ...

Another break in understanding results in most of
us being religiously conditioned that being good vs
bad is the way to be spiritual. Not being authentic;
but all about good is the way to go. So we expect
goodness as an explicit benchmark of spirituality.
When we come across spiritual beings who are not
so conditioned, we are perplexed for they are not
focusing on being nice or not nice; rather just being
themselves in their expanded consciousness. So we
are left questioning what IS spirituality and shredding
these beings to pieces by our religious standards because
they don't fit the bill. It would seem that we have to
re-understand what is Spiritual.

Rochelle has tried to do that - to re-program our idea
of spirituality.
